Description

Our Automated Furnace for Grain Drying system is made up of two pieces of equipment:

  • The METAL FURNACE which was developed to facilitate the grain drying process. Its unique structure reduces sparks from the combustion of fire, drastically reduces smoke emissions and helps save fuel, as its internal structure is fully lined with ceramic fiber and refractory bricks, preventing the loss of calories. It also adapts to different production capacities and, combined with a semi-automatic or automatic chip feeding and dosing system, eliminates the need for manual feeding of the wood burning furnace.
  • And the DOSING MACHINE which was developed to feed and dose the WOODEN CHIPS, saving labor and providing more precise control of the drying temperature. It can be made up of one or two outlets and different storage capacities. When connected to the temperature controller, installed on the electrical panel, it automatically doses the fuel, considering the internal temperature indicated by the thermocouple in the customer’s Grain Dryer. This means that when the programmed temperature is ideal, the machine stops feeding the fuel, and when the temperature drops below the programmed ideal, the machine starts feeding again.

 

The FUEL is supplied by a loader, or it is possible to automate the process to increase autonomy, implementing a system with SILO or hydraulic HOPPER that stores and gradually supplies the chip metering machines.
